Kaliro Foundation (KF) is Non-profit organization duly established and registered with the authorities in Uganda with headquarters in Kaliro district and having active operations in the entire Busoga Sub-region with focus on alleviating livelihoods of people in the different communities in the region and across the country through the various thematic areas of health care and support, education and skills training, economic and social empowerment,  Environmental conservation  and Climate change mitigation, humanitarian and refugee response and many others.

The organization is aimed at fostering the interest of local community to addressing the most pressing socio-economic needs and inequalities in access to development opportunities. It is also intended to focus on the most vulnerable groups of people especially the women, persons with disability, youth, the elderly, and women headed households, people living with HIV and those severely affected by Covid-19 pandemic and other social barriers amongst others.

 

This idea is was initiated by Namukuta Brenda to engage and bring together the women in Kaliro District as well as the entire citizenry in Busoga Sub-region.
